Description1967 Ford Shelby COBRA GT 500 Strong brushed stainless spokes. New custom Mustang adapter (Not Grant) and specially manufactured hub with the correct height to fit perfectly 1967 Mustang/Shelby steering column cars. GRANT ADAPTER (I do not use GRANT adapter as the casting is of “no good” quality – the horn contact plates have a too thin copper surface and the wiring is normally “not well” welded on those backside plates.) This steering wheel with hub has the same height as the original , previously named EFFPI, steering wheel made for 1967 Shelby COBRA GT 500. New safe horn button assembly made in Italy by Nardi with Ford Shelby Cobra GT500 center emblem. This steering wheel is made of real wood and is an Original New Old Stock F.I.V. manufactured steering wheel in 1968. F.I.V. Fabrica Italiana Volante closed the manufacture in 1969. This steering wheel is guaranteed to be safe and will not have any electrical short circuit as F.I.V. had in the past due to the poor horn button assembly. The best you could buy on the market. |
