Only a few Ford Mustang Shelby wood steering wheels have been manufactured end of 1967 to fit the 1968 Shelby Cobra cars with the wider lower hub.
EFFPI, the original Italian manufacturer of Shelby wood steering wheels for the 1966/1967 models went into bankruptcy at the end of 1967 and was renamed F.I.V. (Fabrica Italiane Volanti)
This New Old Stock 1968 model wood steering wheel in flawless show condition is one of those.
Some of those 1968 steering wheels were either embossed with EFFPI or F.I.V. or without any embossing on the lower front spoke.
F.I.V. did not continue to manufacture those 1968 deep dish original steering wheels.
Choose an original horn button assembly with either a Ford Shelby Cobra GT500 or GT350 center emblem or Cougar emblem.
